Before co-founding fibermetrx, Brett was the Corporate Controller / SVP Finance at American Broadband (which was acquired in 2021 by Madison Dearborn Partners). He led a 30-person team in supporting a private-equity-backed telecom operator with revenue in excess of $95MM, 30+ subsidiaries, and operations in 5 states.

Before co-founding fibermetrx, Zack LaCombe held finance and analytics roles at American Broadband and Frontier Communications, advancing from Financial Analyst to Data & Analytics Manager. He specialized in revenue analysis, project costing, and financial reporting for multi-state telecom operations, and holds an MBA in Data Analytics from LSU Shreveport and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from McNeese State University.
